Fireworks are one of my favourite things in the world to photograph – in particular the “Celebration of Light” festival held in Vancouver each Summer.

Bravo! All those beautiful, magnificent displays yet you omitted one of the absolute best — above the Mississippi, framed by the Gateway To The West Arch, in St. Louis.
I am envious..I only wish I could take fire works pics this good…I believe I would need to upgrade my equipment, but even still these guys are really talented in addition to having some sweet photography equipment. My Canon S5 just is not capable of this quality..well if it is, I just don’t know how to make it happen.

At least 7 of these pictures are from Disney parks. They may not do everything right, but Disney does know how to put on a good fireworks show.

WOW–GREAT pictures!!
Wow!.. these are wonderful photos. I am blown away! (hahaha) I have tried on lots of occasions to take photos of fireworks – I’m now hanging up my camera for ever! These make mine look like fuzzy coloured blobs (well fuzzy coloured blobs are nice too if that’s what you were going for!) Thanks for the display.

I tried to take pictures of fireworks once and it didn’t work out very well, but these are great pictures! The photographer really captured the beauty.

the image by wmliu is just spectacular!!firework photography is vry interesting..to time your shot open the shutter as soon as the fireworks are started & press the shutter release..dis guarantees an entire burst & it allows any additional elements, like buildings or trees, to burn in and brighten up. happy clicking!!!

I was born on the 4th of July, so I love fireworks. It’s the best part of my birthday . . . besides the bbq and sun.
