Using a flash when taking pictures often seems like one of those things that happens automatically. But, it is not as easy as it appears. Here are a couple of flash techniques to improve photography light.

Using ring light

Ring light is one of the lighting modifiers commonly used in fashion industry. Packing with two canon speedlites and a pocket wizard, ring light may not be suitable for poor lighting around the lens.

Using light that comes from all around

Some specular objects like watches and cell phones are hardest things to light. So, the secret to light such specular objects is to pour the light directly on the surface that reflects off the object.
