Shooting the beautiful candlelight pictures is not a tough task if you follow some tips or photography techniques while taking the snaps. When you follow these techniques, the results that obtain will be stunning and appreciable.

Here are the photography tips to shoot stunning candlelight pictures:

1. Don’t turn on the flash: You will not get better pictures in the candle light when you turn on the flash. The clarity levels of these ones will not be up to the mark as they create high focus on the objects in the candle light. So, turn off the flash present in your digital camera and take the snaps in the arranged candle light source.
2. Tripod: You must use the tripod compulsorily while taking the snaps in the candlelight. The general shaking that obtain while taking the snaps will reduce by using tripod. Vibrations or shaking can obtain in your digital camera while taking the snaps as they are fixed in the slower shutter speed. Get rid of this shaking at different shutter speeds while taking the snaps with the help of the tripods.
3. Lit the extra candles for more clarity: you will not obtain good clarity levels if you shoot the pictures in the little candles light. Lit some more extra candles which can improve the light source as well as which can be able to attain good clarity pictures. Using more candles will give some flexibility in the shutter speed, aperture and ISO settings.
4. Spread the candles all over the room in different locations: Shadows or images will obtain in the room by keeping a single candle or by positioning the multiple candles close together in one position. So, spread the candles all over the room at different locations so that shadows are not obtained and that lighting will be more suitable for you to take the better pictures.
5. Go for natural reflectors: Instead of using the artificial reflectors to attain the better pictures in the candlelight, go for the natural reflectors which doesn’t reflect or focus the light more.
6. Use fast lenses to attain high clarity in candlelight pictures: If you are shooting with your digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera which has multiple lenses, select the fastest lens out of all. Fastest lens allows the usage of larger aperture and also helps to let light enter into your camera.
7. Aperture and zoom: While shooting the picture with many zoom lenses, its maximum aperture changes throughout the range of its total focal length.That means shooting in different wide settings in different zooms will achieve the larger aperture than when you normally zoom the picture.So, instead of doing this, move closer to the subject by keeping wider angle focal range without using the zoom option present in your camera.
8. Backgrounds and context: You must arrange the background and context of the subject in the right way while taking the snap. Don’t keep high focused backgrounds because they will not be helpful for you to attain the pictures with good clarity.Try to place the natural reflectors in front of the subject so that they will be perfectly focused or looks good in the snaps which are taken in the candle light.
9. Maintain shutter speed: The right way to make more light enter into your camera is to choose the slower shutter speed in your camera. Try to keep one important thing in mind while taking the snaps in the candlelight i.e. the decreased shutter speed will increase the chance of capturing all things like the subject, flame of the candles and the movement of your camera.
10. Keep your camera in ISO settings: One more way to compensate with the low light settings is to increase the ISO (International Organization For Standardization) settings present in your camera. Mostly try to keep the ISO settings below 400 in your camera to get the clear shots.
11. Maintain white balance: White balance is the essential aspect which has to be maintained correctly while taking the snaps in the candlelight. The candles which are placed by you will emit warm light. If you want to include this in your shot in order to create the wonderful atmosphere, set your camera in the auto mode. 12. Expose: If the candles are included in the shot, mostly your camera goes down into the underexposure and totally it will just look like the bright shot. Don’t try to take the pictures in the over exposure mode as the clarity levels will be low in this mode in the candle light.
13. Consider the composition of the candles: The candles which are arranged for the light source to take the snap must look good and all of them must have the same composition. The ugly candles or the candles which doesn’t look good must not be kept because such type of candles can distract the look of the picture.

Use other light sources if you feel that the light source is not enough to take the better picture: Go for another light source if you feel that the light source which is arranged from the candles is not enough.
